ENEC Operations (registered and licensed as Nawah Energy Company) is one of the world’s latest nuclear operating companies, with the mandate to operate and maintain the four units of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant.
Our mission is to safely, reliably, and efficiently generate clean electricity from nuclear energy to power UAE’s growth.
Barakah Plant is providing clean, 24/7 electricity to homes and businesses across the UAE. The team at ENEC Operations is fully committed to ensuring the continuous, safe, and reliable production of this zero-emissions power, around the clock.

ENEC Operations is an Emirati-led, multinational, multicultural company, with over 50 nationalities proudly represented and around 60% of our employees being UAE Nationals. Working closely with our shareholders and partners, and through knowledge transfer agreements, we support the development and retention of skilled UAE Nationals. Our commitment to human capital development ensures a sustainable pipeline of professionals for the operation and maintenance of the Barakah Plant throughout its decades of operations ahead, sustainably powering our generation, and many generations to come.
