Established in 2016, ENEC Operations is the subsidiary of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) in charge of operating and maintaining Units 1-4 of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant, located in the Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi.

ENEC Operations is a multinational, multicultural company committed to keep growing its skilled nuclear energy workforce in the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on the development of UAE Nationals, and ensuring the highest levels of efficiency and standards in operating the Barakah Plant.

ENEC Operations harnesses the power of nuclear energy in providing a safe, reliable, clean and sustainable supply of low-carbon electricity to contribute to the UAE’s social and economic development and enhance the quality of life for generations to come.

With safety as its overriding priority, and in adherence to the local regulatory requirements and the highest international standards in the nuclear industry, ENEC Operations is generating 40 TWh of clean electricity annually from four units of the Barakah Plant.
