“In line with its commitment to powering the future social and economic prosperity of the UAE through the provision of safe, clean and reliable electricity, ENEC is dedicated to engaging with communities across the country through a variety of initiatives,” added H.E. Eng. Al Hammadi.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, established under the kind patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Mohamed Bin Saif Al Nahyan is dedicated to granting the wishes of children suffering from chronic or terminal ailments.

Recognized by the United Nations, Universal Children's Day was established in 1954 and is celebrated on November 20 every year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare. 20 November is an important date as it is the date in 1959 when the UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, as well as the date in 1989 when the assembly adopted the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
