ENEC follows the international standards and comply with corresponding requirements to achieve world-class performance assuring safety as overriding policy. We have achieved six international accreditations of ISO standards, including:

• ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System,
• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System,
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System,
• ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management System,
• ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security Management System, and
• ISO/IEC 20000-1: 2018 Information Technology Service Management System.

ENEC is also a member of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and operates under the guidance and standards of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). In addition, ENEC complies with the Nuclear Quality Assurance Standard (NQA-1) requirements.

ENEC is in full compliance with all relevant regulations by the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR), the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi (EAD), the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA), the Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Authority (OSHAD), the Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DOE) and other regulatory bodies.
