ENEC is committed to the preservation and protection of the UAE’s environment and natural historical sites.  Marine conservation is one of our key priorities.

We are operating under the regulations of the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, to develop programs that will preserve and protect the local environment – both marine and land.

Clean Energy

Nuclear energy is a much cleaner way to generate electricity than traditional forms like oil and coal.

Using nuclear energy to account for about 25 per cent of the UAE’s electricity needs will help to limit the nation’s carbon emissions in the future.

Nuclear energy

The energy that is released during a nuclear reaction. Splitting atoms (fission) and fusing atoms (fusion) both release nuclear energy. Today's nuclear power plants use fission to produce energy, which allow them to generate electricity on a large scale.
Carbon emissions

The release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Carbon dioxide is a gas linked to ozone damage and climate change. Sources of carbon emissions include people, cars and fossil fuel power plants.
